Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian singer and songwriter from Norway. Born in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996 and professionally known as Aurora. Her name could be also stylized in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. She has recorded several high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that have been widely praised. The family did not have any idea about it until she reached the age of 14. Aurora wasn't a dream. She claims that she simply enjoys writing songs. She believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
