Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley has been a popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most popular. Shottas was an iconic film in which he appeared with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where the album was released like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles such as Judge Not with Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and Who The Cap Fit Remix, and Sensimelia. Each of these songs contributed to his growing popularity with the new generation of reggae artists. Ky-Mani was also a part of Praswell as well as Fugees (as part of Avenue), a popular song by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue came out in 1997. Marley appeared at Midem (international music showcase) in the year it was held in Miami for the first time. The performance of Marley in the Cameo Theatre was broadcast live across 36 countries via Caribbean News Agency. Marley was at the center of auction warfare.
